The Crescent Island

Island number 3324 is a man made crescent shaped housing a mixed variety. Unlike many other islands where it is peacefully inhabited by relocated mutants this island is considered a prison and safe keeping for those deemed dangerous. In addition to the criminals kept within the island there are also the mistakes. When mutants are created, either by scientists or breeding, there are likely going to be some, unwanted side effects. Mutants with life altering mistakes are sent to this island.

Also unlike other islands, we retain the full right to test on the mutants. Testing is up to the judgement of the head scientist. To keep things running smoothly, a large number of staff is kept in the facilities at all times. Most of the staff is made up of non-mutant guards with diverse jobs and skills to keep the place running. Also employed here are a handful of mutant guards to keep things in line in case the unfavorable was to happen. At the top of the pecking order is a handful of scientists that run the experiments and keep the island's ecosystem in check with careful monitoring. Some of the scientists are mutants themselves but have no qualms about testing on those imprisoned here. Yes there has been issues with staffing before but the issues have been fixed and the new staff is ready to move forward.
